We love our earth friendly hiker friends. You may be doing the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) or the JMT (John Muir Trail). We are the closest place to Onion Valley trailhead, Baxter Pass Trail Head, Kearsarge Pass Trailhead & Shepherd Pass Trailhead.
Independence Courthouse Motel is 3.2 km drive from Manzanar National Historic Site and 20 minutes’ drive from Mount Whitney Golf Course. The trails and mountain lakes of Inyo National Forest are 43 km away. This property is 6 hours one way drive to Sequoia National Forest.
